Mobile Banking App
a mobile banking app design concept
Introduction
This project was part of a Human Computer Interaction course taken at the University of Washington.
Concept
My team worked on redesigning mobile banking experience. We conducted contextual inquiries and segmented our users into several groups. Based on our contextual inquiries, we decided to focus on "on the go non-tech savvy users". Using our segmentation we created persona and established our main and secondary scenarios. Each member of the team members also completed the comparative and competitive analysis of scenarios and workflows.
My contribution to the project was:
-
leading the project UX design process
-
completing contextual inquiry
-
completing persona
-
working with the team on segmentations
-
deciding with the team on our main and secondary scenarios
-
completing the comparative and competitive analysis and workflows
-
completing paper as well as high fidelity prototypes
This project has been a very interesting experience. Completing the contextual inquiries has helped us to learn a lot about the users and their pain points when it comes to using mobile banking applications.
